DANCE-A-THON

Grab your partner! It's time for the PTO's Dance-a-Thon, our biggest fundraiser of the year!

THIS YEAR'S GOAL:

This year, your TeSA PTO is focusing our fundraising efforts on the completion of a couple of ongoing projects that will benefit both our students and teachers. We are planning to use the funds donated for:

Completion of the playground fence for both students and staff safety

Theatre Department Upgrade and PE Equipment

School beautification projects

Here's how it works!

STEP 1

Once you get the email from 99pledges with your student's personal fundraising link, send it out to ask for donations for family and friends. (You can also go here: https://app.99pledges.com/fund/danceathon2324 and search for your students' name)

STEP 2

Your student becomes eligible to win prizes with their 1st $5 of money earned! That small amount is enough to enter them into the small weekly participation drawings. (Every week, each student who has participated has 1 chance to win roller skating tickets, free sundaes, posters or 1/2 price admission to Kidmania). That also gets them 1 entry into the big raffle at the end of DAT for the bigger prizes.

STEP 3

At $10 of donations earned, your student gets a free book at Book Fair in December (up to $10 in value).

STEP 4

At $20 of donations earned, your student gets another entry into the big raffle at the end of DAT. Every $20 earned after that gets them another entry. The more times they are entered into the raffle, the better their chances are for being picked for a prize (see list of prizes on this website)

STEP 5

Dance Party! On November 2nd, ALL students will get to go to the big dance party (even if they did not participate in DAT)! They will attend the party during their regular PE or Music class and get to take part in a Square Dance and also get face painting and a craft!

CLASS PARTICIPATION PARTY!

The classes with the highest amount of students participating in DAT get a Blacklight Jam with Mr. Brasfield! (One for k-2nd grade, and one for 3rd-5th grade)

SCHOOL INCENTIVES

For every $5,000 raised, the teachers and staff at TeSA will do crazy things to show their appreciation!

$5,000 Ms. Bransford will get taped to the building

$10,000 Ms. May will get crazy hair

$15,000 Mr. Brasfield and Ms. Kilgore will play Pie in the Face

$20,000 Mrs. Sturtz and Mrs. Garcia will get covered in silly string

$25,000 Mrs. Compton will get tattoo sleeves
